Kristina Chaffee - #MYNSMHSTORY

Meet Kristina, our Membership Director in this edition of #MYNSMHSTORY!

Emphasis: Events

Hometown: Loomis, CA

Expected Graduation: May 2018

  • Who or what inspired you to get involved with NSMH?

  • When i first joined HTM I really wanted to join a student organization because the people that were in them seemed so involved and had so much fun. I feel like NSMH is a close organization and is committed to its purpose.

  • What is the best memory you have that involves NSMH?

  • My favorite memory of NSMH is playing board games during our Exec board retreat before school started. I didn't know everyone that well but we got along so well and I felt welcomed and close to everyone after a day.

  • What opportunities have you gained through NSMH?

  • I have gained the opportunities to network with recruiters and become more involved with the HTM program as a whole.

  • What's the best piece of advice you could give anyone?

  • Don't worry about the future too much because you'll always find a way to make things work for the best!

  • What are you going to contribute to the org as a board member this year?

  • I hope to connect as many people as possible with NSMH and get more people involved. I want people know that the sooner you get involved the better your HTM experience will be and NSMH can help you do that!

  • What does NSMH mean to you?

  • It means being apart of an organization that represents something bigger than yourself and making the most of my time as a student at SDSU.
